Welcome to the Scholarship page of the Maine South CRC Website!
Scholarships are available through colleges and universities, as well as through national and community organizations. You should always review the criteria of the scholarships for which you plan to apply. Be familiar with deadlines. Know what is required. If you need letters of recommendation, be sure to give your recommender plenty of notice.
The CRC posts two Scholarship Bulletins on the website – one is for college scholarships and the other is for community organization scholarships. As the CRC learns of scholarships, they are added to these bulletins. You will want to check often because they are updated on a regular basis. If a scholarship application is available online, a link will be included in the description of the scholarship. If only a paper version is available, you will need to come to the CRC to pick up your copy.
You can find the College Scholarship Bulletin and the Organization Scholarship Bulletin
by looking under the News section on the right hand side of this page.
BE WARY OF SCHOLARSHIP SCAMS!
There are many legitimate resources available to you. They are free – you should never have to pay for a scholarship or a scholarship service. There are no guarantees for scholarships, and the same information can be found for free by using online resources or by taking advantage of the resources in your CRC. Remember: scholarships take work and research.
