Teacher Appreciation 2021

The positive impact that teachers make on our students is one of the greatest factors in their ultimate success.  At Maine South, we have dedicated, hardworking, and caring teachers, school counselors, school social workers, school psychologists, school librarians, and school nurses.  Every day, I am able to observe the behind-the-scenes work that ensures a healthy and challenging educational environment for your students.  It has never been more evident than this past year how truly committed and amazing our faculty members are.  During the week of May 3rd, we will celebrate educator appreciation week and recognize their important work.

Throughout the year, many parents inquire about how they can give back to these educators in order to show their appreciation.  To that end, we will be hosting a parent-sponsored luncheon again this year (Friday, May 7th) and we need your help!  If you are able to help with the drinks/desserts or volunteer to help us run the day, please fill out this form.  You may also indicate a monetary donation to help us cover the cost for the main course.

We left a section at the end of the form to write a faculty member in the building a note of gratitude.  If you or your student would please take a moment and write a note to at least one faculty member it would be greatly appreciated.  I assure you these notes mean more than anything to them.  We will collect them and pass them on.

A big Thank You to Mrs. Daisy Bowe, Mrs. Lan Eng and Mrs. Dimitra Kolotouros who will be coordinating the luncheon this year.  We can also use a few awesome parent volunteers that day (May 7th) to help out and that is available to sign up on the form as well.

Thank you and Go Hawks!!
