The goal of the Maine South Math Department is to create a positive math experience with an appropriate level of challenge for each individual student. We will encourage all students to reason, communicate and think critically in an effort to prepare them to be lifelong problem solvers.
Math Support
Do you need some extra help in Math? Our TAs and/or Math teachers are available each period to help you. You can come to the Academic Resource Center (ARC) before or during school hours at your convenience. For after school support, please reach out to your math teacher for help during office hours. Additionally, we have several student volunteer peer tutors to help with math. Peer tutors are available in the Academic Resource Center before, during, or after school.
