The Thespian Honor Society at Maine South High School recognizes students who demonstrate dedication, commitment, and excellence in the theatre arts. As part of the International Thespian Society, students earn membership through their involvement and contributions to our theatre program, both onstage and behind the scenes. Beyond celebrating theatrical achievement, the society honors the collaboration, creativity, leadership, and perseverance that make theatre possible. Our Thespians embody the spirit of our program by supporting one another, strengthening our theatre community, and recognizing the lasting impact theatre has on our lives and the stories we share.
An induction ceremony is held each year in May where we induct new members into the society as well as celebrate milestone achievements of point earnings among current members.
What opportunities can you expect once an inducted as a Thespian?
