Varsity Hawkettes Kick their way into a National Championship!
The Maine South Varsity Hawkettes captured a first place title in the high kick category at the UDA National Championship in Orlando, FL.
Not only was it a first for the Hawkette program, the team was the first in Illinois to ever have won a national title in Illinois history! Needless to say, we're incredibly proud of our team, as is the entire Illinois Dance Community.
We congratulate the Maine South Hawkettes on this outstanding accomplishment and also give a round of applause to all the very talented teams from throughout the country who competed in this championship. The amount of passion and dedication to the sport of dance was truly amazing.
